Materials and process
Proposed SLS PA12 chassis, 0.8 mm 304 stainless grille, CNC acetal/POM mechanisms, aluminum play cap, spring-steel elements and FR4 carriers. These are prototype candidates; the custom-part BOM defines each process.

Original build scope
What to build first
Rear and front boss coupons, precision mechanism/nest samples and F1 finish/grille samples, then one unpowered full fit set. Agree how to achieve the 28.00 mm finished maximum before a finished article.
Confirm before the affected stage
- Before precision parts
- Confirm guide tolerances, crossbar/bushing and grille process; identify outsourced work and any requested drawing changes.Rapid
- Before finished article
- F1 chemistry and thickness control, strength/torque coupons and round volume-cap appearance proposal.Rapid proposes; Walkie One design/mechanical approves
- Before powered acceptance
- Switch load approval, spring data, populated electronics/harness, actual battery and cable, acoustic/thermal/RF tests.Walkie One electrical/mechanical
